Anybody lifting? Advice?

Looking for advice on heavy lifting. Would really like to learn how to tone but I don't know where to start

Have a look for 'the new rules of lifting for women' its great.
Other than that if you dont want to follow the books etc just start with your big compunding movements e.g, squats, lunges, deadlifts, push-ups (full or half), if you have access to a gym then also try some inverted rows also get some shoulder presses in there and perhaps some front raises also. i'll put some links below for form etc. good luck and dont be scared of going heavy, its the only way to get the definition you're after

On bodybuilding.com there is a 12 week program by Jamie Eason "Live Fit" that I have used. It's a great way to introduce yourself to weight lifting. Yay for you and lifting, you will love it. It really transforms your body!0
