  • Bunnabear, is the one you do on Xbox live? The kinect one? Can it be done with others online? I saw another post started by someone asking if anyone does Zumba on Xbox live.

    Hey Niki.

Yes, I do the Xbox Kinect but not on Xbox live. I'm not sure how it works if you connect online. I just log on locally without connecting to live.

  • Have any of you tried the Zumba Core for the Wii? I'm thinking about getting that one.

I got it for Christmas but I haven't try it.

Thank you! I'm not getting a lot of results on the scale (typical for me since I tend to put on muscle) but measurements are a different story. I started measuring 4 weeks ago and this is my progress:

    Baseline to week 2 change:
Bust: down 3/4 of an inch
    Below bust: down 1/2 inch
    Waist: down 1 inch
    Hips: down 1 inch
    Thigh, left: down 1/2 inch
    Thigh, right: down 1/2 inch

Week 2 to week 4 change
    Bust: down 1 inch
    Below bust: down 1/2 inch
    Waist: down 1 inch
    Hips: down 1/2 inch
    Thigh, left: down 1/4 inch
    Thigh, right: down 1/4 inch

So that means my total inches lost in 4 weeks...
Bust: down 1.75 of an inch
    Below bust: down 1 inch
    Waist: down 2 inches!!!!
    Hips: down 1.5 inch
    Thigh, left: down 0.75 inch
    Thigh, right: down 0.75 inch

I have been taking live Zumba classes for over a year now, most often participate in three 1-hour classes a week. I enjoy the workout so much I'd do it everyday if the classes were more convenient and it wouldn't break the piggy bank! This is the only exercise I have been with consistent with for such an extended period of time!
