Good post! One thing I heard once was "think of yourself as a NON-smoker, not someone just trying to quit." It really helps. Even just confidently saying to someone who offers "no thanks. I quit" creates a good feeling, whereas wistfully saying "ohhhh, well, I'm trying to quit" doesn't make you feel good at all. It's mental but it helps.0

Today is D-Day. The morning was good, nice and calm. Working out with my trainer this evening, that will help with the evening stressors.0

It should definitely help. One thing I repeat to myself is "not smoking = ability to work out harder = losing weight = happy and healthier me." Keeping my eye on how my goals help each other keeps me from getting too overwhelmed.0
