Anyone else been on OkCupid today? They are promoting a new app called "Love id Blind" and have blacked out out every single photo on all profiles today. Thanks OkC, that's really helpful... :grumble:

    I actually met a very nice lady who never posted her picture on OKC. She did a great job of describing herself. So I rolled the dice and she was a cutie. She just happened to have zero drive nor any goals.

    I had to go check...but that is crazy. I like the questionnaire on OKC, but otherwise not a huge fan---just don't have much luck.

    Ok, so I was curious and had to go back in and look at what they are promoting. After you download the app, you put in a location and time that you are available and it finds you a date on the spot!

    Ok, please, please, please don't laugh at me, but I am enjoying this no picture day on OkC!! So many guys have written to me today and started conversations about (Gasp!) stuff I actually wrote in my profile! It's refreshing if nothing else.

    I think I might have an advantage on a day like this. I'm actually off the market right now, but it would be nice to have someone actually read through my profile and find things we connect on rather than quickly scan my photos and decide whether or not I look like their favorite movie star.

    It's funny you say this because the last month of my membership on Match I removed all my photos. I was contacted by about 6 women who were interested in what I wrote. After I sent pics, I never heard from them again. So much for guys being the shallow ones who put too much emphasis on looks.
