Anyone have any fun weekend plans? I'm sure we all do more than exercise and count calories, so let's share...

Today my littles each have a basketball game and my teen son is having a friend sleepover.

On Sunday I'm going back to Pa to FINALLY celebrate Christmas with my mom, dad and 3 of my 4 sisters...... FUN!! But mom always makes TONS OF YUMMY FOOD! I need to try really hard to not over eat. But she's making MY FAVORITE...... LASAGNA!!!!!! We are having birthday cake for by daughter too. I'm not a big cake eater so nbd.

And.... I just signed up for 1,000 calorie weekend challenge so must do that TODAY as I'm gone tomorrow.....

Oh and normal cleaning, bathe kids and dog, laundry, meal plan, budget, pay bills, yadda, yadda, yadda
  • I am visiting my in-laws in Williamsburg. Probably will entail some eating out, shopping, a movie and since my brother in law is an incredible chef a couple of home made dinners with a lot of food.

wasmws - I am going to need pictures and details of these yummy homemade dinners. I am living vicariously through you this weekend cause that soundss awesome.

Jlc - I LOVE Christmas! My parents and my sister are coming to visit me and my daughter when I get home, and hopefully my brother will be able to make it too. We're doing all the Christmas traditions - the tree, the dinner, the stockings, etc. My daughter is the only grandkid, so it's going to be a huge deal. And limiting the food will be my biggest struggle.

My weekend is all work, gym, sleep - just like the rest of the week. I wish more people would jump in here. I feel like, as friends and supporters, we should be able to talk about more than just our exercise and eating habits.

Nothing much...just going to enjoy the 3 day weekend. I'm working on a project for my wife to rip out a closet and turn it into "lockers".

Then I'll mainly just hang with the family and play the wii, games, and whatever else

Tori - you are welcome to come help organize my house any day! Hope you had a great date!

MotherofBride - What do you teach?

Dellmech - lockers in the closet? Sounds interesting. I love weekends when I can just hang with my kiddo. Those are some of the best times!

I get every other Friday off, so it fell at a good time to give me a 4 day weekend! Not doing much since I am still trying to get over this flu like stuff I have had. I am enjoying catching up on my TV shows, snuggling with my 2 weenie dogs!

What a great age! Second and third grade were my favorites but I remember first grade fondly - I spent a lot of time in the library and I loved the library.

I hope you're feeling better soon. I hate feeling sick, but it is a nice excuse to snuggle up at home and wear PJs all day.

yesterday was a movie day with friends and I forgot to bring "rabbit food" as my friends call it so it was a carb heavy day with breads, pizza, and cake -.- I was semi good and only went over my calorie intake by 300. But did not hit the gym at all yesterday. So today is a half day and once I have lunch in me I'm hitting the gym for to hours to help make up for yesterday's fun day.

It is nice to have those type of days as long as it's now and again. I am feeling great and looking amazing. The pounds are slowly coming off but the inches are melting away :)

Sorry I don't have any pictures...but dinners entailed homemade chicken soup and pork loin with green beans and stuffing.

Great attitude! My dad says I'm eating like a rabbit too. LOL! It's ok, I like veggies. Today was one of those bad days - my chief brought donuts in and that is my big major weakness. I tried to say no, I tried to resist and then I had one. But I had a horrible day at work and got my other running shoes in the mail finally, so I decided I needed to take them for a little run. I made up my calories, barely, but two hard run days in a row, followed by trying to run off some anger led to a hurting knee. :-( Guess I'll have to make better choices tomorrow.
