I just started plan today, so far not that hungry and food is not as bad as I thought it would be, did a shake for breakfast, cinnamon pretzels for snack, mac and cheese for lunch, and will be trying the cheese pizza bites for afternoon in about an hour or so. Just looking for friends for support and motivation I have 148 lbs to meet my goal weight!

Feel free to add me as a friend. I have been on Medifast since August 2012 and absolutely love the program. The first week is really tough but hang in there because it is worth it! There are several of us on here so feel free to ask anything that you like. Good luck!

I just started, today is my fourth day. So far is so good. Is there a recipe exchange thread somewhere?

Welcome to Medifast lmajicat! Here are few recipe websites for you. Sandy's kitchen is my favorite one. She has some really great recipes. The New Medifast receipes has a great recipe for Cabbage tomato beef soup and it is really yummy. I am not sure why they have fruit on there because you can't have fruit on this program. The last one has a lot of recipes to make with the actual MF meals. You could also go to the mymedifast website and register there (it's free) and you can create your own page and go to their community page and get lots of ideas from other people on the program. Feel free to friend me if you like. I have been doing this since August 2012 and love it. Good luck to you.

Glad to see some other newbies starting out.

I started on January 7th, so I'm two weeks in, and must say that other than day 2, most of the days have been liveable and they are getting more and more enjoyable. The energy is starting to come (late because I got the flu last week) and my taste buds are adapting so the food is tasting better all the time. I'm enjoying the freedom that the Medifast program gives me to not spend my days planning, shopping and preparing food that only I am eating (my family is NOT "on board") I did lose weight just counting calories, but it was a LOT of work.

Welcome to our party Ladies :) You are going to love the program. It is the only one that ever worked for me where I was able to consistently lose weight every week for 10 months. We are here for you if you have ANY questions.
