Trouble With Level 1

OK, so I've done 10 days at level 1 and it's definitely getting easier. I LOVE the ab work-out and can't wait to try level 2 tonight. Here's the problem. When I am doing the cardio workout, I can not do the jump rope after the jumping jacks. I have severe pain in my calves.

I can do the butt kicks after the jumping jacks and I can do the jump rope after butt kicks, but the jump rope right after jumping jacks is nearly impossible. Doesn't make sense to me when everything else is easier for me. What is it about that combination. Weird

  • It was that way for me to for the first few days, after that it got better! I don't really have any advice, just thought I'd throw it out there that I had issues the first few days too! Good luck :)

I had issues with that, so I kinda skipped me feet the first few times so I didn't put too much weigh or pressure upon them.

i kept pushing through it until i found out i had given myself shin splints, so now instead of but kicks i do squats and instead of jumping rope i do more punchs and am looking into getting a stationary bike for no impact.

Mix it up - as long as you do some cardio, I think that's ok.

I have to move around on my floor to find a spot that doesn't make the bookshelves wiggle so much (I have visions of jumping up and down and then being smushed to death on the floor...). Whatever works, right? sometimes I bounce from one foot to the other on the jump rope because that seems to make the floor shake the most.
