Anyone follow any of Zuzka's old bodyrocks?

It's how I first found her and when I followed the bodyrocks I was in great shape. It was when the split happened and she disappeared for a while that I fell off the wagon.

I've just ordered her DVD's and I've loaded a bunch of her old bodyrocks into my HIIT timer on my phone. It's nice that all her old bodyrocks are still available in the archive section of their website. It's great to get back into what inspired me in the first place.

This is my favorite old one

  • I did the same thing. Once they started bringing in new people, I started fading away with the workouts. Have you seen the new bodyrock site now? Its just so confusing. I also do the older workouts and my fav is 600 Rep workout (the one in the hotel room with only body weight exercises). But the REALLY older ones have been deleted. I've been saving the videos to my computer JUST in case they get deleted too.

I went to the site today and realized that all the ones shot in Poland on the roof top were gone. :( That makes me a little sad. I guess I better hop to it on saving the other ones I love.

I like the ZWOW's too but the old bodyrocks just have that nostalgia. heh.

The psychopath workout: http://archive.bodyrock.tv/2010/02/07/psychopath-workout/ was the very first workout of hers I ever did and I still go back and do it as a "fit test" to mark progress, or if I stop working out as much for a while, it's the first thing I do when I come back. I really like the Tabata style (I think the only one she's done that style once in ZWOWs - #13, although I haven't been through all of them yet) and find it challenging.
I also like the 550 killer rep one. http://archive.bodyrock.tv/2009/11/14/workout-550-killer-reps/ Simple, especially if I don't have my timer handy. I haven't tried the 600 rep one, but it looks killer.
I know this has been posted here before, but in case it's fallen too far down the page, someone has organized a list of Zuzana's workouts http://litealloy.com/workouts/tags (old and new, although I'm not sure if it goes all the way back to the beginning of BR) and the list tells you what equipment is used, the type of workout and roughly how long it takes. Much easier to navigate than the Bodyrock site, but it links through to Bodyrock if you need to see the pictures, etc.

I didn't know about the organized list.
    Thank you!

My new goal is to go through and save videos I love so they don't go away all together. That list will help :)

    I set these aside tonight

I seemed to like the ones that had the silly names. I'm working my way back up. I like the ones you guys posted about too.

I use this site to find her old workouts.

Well actually, when they split and Freddy bad mouthed her on FB I immediately started copying every single one of her workouts on to word docs and saved them all to print out. I now have an AMAZING binder of workouts to do. =P

I ordered her DVD's and plan to start them in February.

I decided to try the Poker Face workout this morning. I don't have a dip station, so I use my kitchen chairs, which are a bit low for leg raises and the seats are a bit high to kick over, but otherwise it was great! I haven't done ninja jumps in ages and I've never done them with the sandbag. Turns out when there aren't a billion of them in the workout, I kind of like them.

I stopped following him and bodyrock shortly after the split so I missed all that. I have a few of the workouts saved but not enough. I wish when I was writing down my timed reps I was better at keeping what the exercises were and not just my numbers.

I'm disappointed in the direction that Freddy has taken bodyrock but I'm thrilled that Zuzanna is keeping with her routines and doing the exercises without tons of equipment and it's good solid workouts.

I actually went to bodyrock right after they split looking for her because one of my friends had told me about BR. She was gone, I was confused, then I saw in a comment that hadn't been deleted yet that Zuzana had started her own youtube channel. I found it a week or so before she released ZWOW 1. After I finish up ZCUT and make sure I do all of her ZWOWs at least once, then I'll probably go to look for the older workouts of hers to see what all the hullabaloo is about.
