Intro!

Hi girls,
Thought we could pop our intro in here, just so that we can put a MFP to a fb person
I'm Jade, I started at 140.3kg about a year ago. I've managed to get down to 128.3, but I'm moving much slower than I'd hoped! I want to get under 110kg before we start TTC #3. So I want to do that ASAP. I just want to be sustainable as I do find I diet, and then I binge.
I'm trying to work on underlying issues. I emotional eat big time. I eat beyond the point where I'm satisfied. I am getting there. Slowly.

Hi Guys, I started my weight loss journey about three years ago I weighed 110ks, after a lot of sweet and determination I now weigh 69kg my goal weight is 65kg. Ive stayed at this wight for a few months now. Ive decided its time to step things off and loose those last 4kg. I know it doesn't sound like a great deal to loose but this journey had been a long one and I'd like to finally say that I reached my goal weight. When I fist started all those years back I calculated that to reach my goal weight I would need to loose 45kg I honestly that was impossible.0

Hi girls.
Way to go Steph and Jade!
I'm a UNE Mum too, studying Bach Ed. externally.
I have been 'trying' to lose weight for the last 5 years. I go great for about 2 weeks, then I shut off from the world and over eat. Like seriously, I'm either super strict or super eat-everything-in-sight-and-sabotage-yourself!
I am the heaviest right now I have ever been... 93kg. I weighed this morning after realising how tight my jeans were. What do I expect though, when in the last 3 days I, all alone, have eaten a 4pack of magnum egos, 4 pack magnum choccie biscuit, family block of chocolate and oh god, chips...yep, I have a food addiction and have been out of control!
I'm on Facebook. In both the UNE Mum group, and the UNE Mum weights group. I need to socialise more...not hide and eat.
Pre-kids I was around 60 kilos. Ideally, I'd love to be 60 anything.
My first goal though, will be 80 anything!
Please try and help me stay on track, and I will do the same for you.
Many thanks, Dea0 -
Right here with you Dea. I will be knuckling down - I need to do either cardio or strength 6/7 days. I am thinking of trying to get out of the house for uni... I tend to graze at home. But I do just need to focus on breaking the habit too. This week I'm going to track all my food. I'm going to have some not great things, but I seem to be letting those decide my food for the rest of the week. In reality - it's ONE bad meal!
I need to go back to losing about 1kg a week. I'm 125.9kg. I really wanted to be at least 110kg before TTC, but decided to go for it now due to getting in on this PCOS trial. Just want to really shoot for it and try and drop as much weight as I can.
STILL tossing up 12wbt... figure it might really help me to push for it, but I can do it myself.0 -
I have tried 12wbt and it wasn't for me. I know I need to exercise, there's millions of healthy recipes available out there for free, it's the mentality you need to have yourself and no amount of money can buy that.
I do believe tracking is essential.
I'm with you, one bad meal turns into many really bad meals. So, here's where we tell each other, and the group, that when we stuff up ('cause we're all human), we'll come here, admit it and get back on the wagon.
Do hope you conceive quickly, and then we'll be here to watch you don't gain unnecessarily in that tender time!0 -
That's it... 12wbt isn't going to do the work for me!!!! Plus it is a bit full on, 1200 cal eating is absolute minimum... and then to be exercising 500-1000 cals a day on top. Figure just not sustainable for me.0

I'm nervous about 12wbt. I signed up a few weeks ago and I think I've lost my momentum before I've even started. :-(0
