Food plan questions

I got my JM body revolution today and am SOOOOOOOOOO excited! I was wondering if I "have" to follow the plan to a "T" if I follow it or can I mix and match different meals and/or recipes. If I like a certain chicken recipe for example, can I have that every night if I want to or do I have to have new meals.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I just eat my own diet within the 1200 calorie limit. I am starting to try eat as clean as possible and gradually replacing food in the house with healthier options. I think it is more difficult to follow her food plan completely in the uk as a lot of what is recommended to eat or is in the recipes isn't always easy to find here. I do take inspiration from her suggestions though and alter them to fit my tastes. Good luck with the programme, I'm half way through week 3 now and am loving it, 5lbs lost so far!0

I didn't follow her diet, just MFP recommendations to lose 1 lb/week. I lost 14 lbs and 22 inches in those 90 days eating what I wanted.0

But did you stay within 1200 calories?0

No, I think my daily calorie allowance was 1340 and ate back about half the exercise calories (on average). Don't think I could have made it on 1200. I also wasn't overweight to begin with I think makes it harder to stay under 1200.0

I am currently reading Jillian's diet book which I bought off Amazon. I'm engrossed in it and from what she says there and everything else I'm reading on this site the most important thing is to eat what your body requires. I started this journey by eating 1000 calories and then decided to increase it to what's recommended on MFP.
After further research I've learnt that you should NEVER eat below your BMR and my BMR is 1400. I've actually got my calories on MFP now set to 1300 but I never eat that little as I work out every day and even on my day off from BR I do housework, walk the dog or something else so I usually eat back my exercise calories.
My TDEE is 1700 and with eating back my exercise calories (or at least most of them) in reality I usually eat a minimum of 1500-1600 per day. I'm finding finally after about a week and a half of doing this that the weight si starting to shift again and I've lost 0.5 lbs today.
I am not very overweight, currently 144.5 lbs and wanting to get to 118lbs but I want to be lean. I don't want to lose muscle mass and therefore know that as I need to reset my metabolism and start losing fat I have to eat at least what I'm eating now and no less otherwise I'll end up skinny fat again and believe me it's no fun as you look thin, can wear a small clothes size but have tons of ugly fat!
Good luck!0 -
Thank you for you answers girls, i am also about 150lbs. I dont' want to loose that much weight, my main goal is to condition my body and be lean. 1200 doesnt work for me at all. But i cut back all the sweets and bread and started to choose what i eat more carefully. So excited about this journey with BR!!!!!0
