Net Calories & EM2WL philosophy

There is still a bit of confusion about my net calories based upon the EM2WL philosophy. If my NET calories on MFP drop below my BMR, should I consume the difference?

BMR: 1462
TDEE 2267

You can manually change your calories to whatever you want. Was that the question? So it looks like you should eat around 1800 or so. Change MFP.

    Yes.

If you have a high burn day, eg if done more exercise than normal, eat back more cals to make sure you net above BMR.

If this is happening on a regular basis your activity setting is too low and you should move up one.

I have already manually edited my calories. Yes, I eat around 1800 cals as a result.

I just wanted to know how i should look at MFP's NET calories after manually editing my calories.

    Thanks peeps! ;-)

Keep in mind that your HRM or MFP shown calories burned for activity include the already accounted for BMR calories in it.

So if you are going to follow that philosophy, then don't kill part of your deficit by eating more than needed.

So BMR / 1440 * minutes of exercise.

That's what you were going to burn just sleeping during that time.

So workout calories burned minus that shows what you really burned in excess of what was going to happen anyway.

Hey lady, for ease I put my cut calories as my daily intake and when I workout I only put 1 calories. As long as you aren't burning more than the the difference between your cut value and bmr you are good to go. So the key is to make sure you have chosen the correct activity level and just eat your cut daily.
