Hello guys so i've been doing insanity for about 2 weeks now but until this week i've recently started logging my calorie intake. One of my goals is to lose 17lbs. I'm currently 162lbs 5'6 and 20 yrs old. i've calculated my calories based on the insanity guide and according to it i should be eating 2444 calories. However for the past week i've been eating about 1800. Is this bad? theoretically it would lead to weight loss due to the calorie deficit. But do you think it might cause body fat to retain due to the lack of calories? thanks for your help guys

If caloric intake is too low u'll burn muscle. Make sure you get plenty of protein as well.0

I'm having a similar issue. I'm consuming about 2400 calories a day, and I'm finishing my second week of insanity. My problem is I've only lost 1 lb, although I've tightend my belt one hole, which I guess means I've lost some inches. I'm wondering if I'm holding fat since I'm not eating enough. Or maybe I need to eat more protein. I've also noticed that although I can get through the work outs, my legs tired and burn rather quickley. I push through anyway, but is this normal?0
