I am all about starting the Whole 30 tomorrow! I have been about 90/10 paleo this past month and would love to see what happens when i go Whole 30...i am also cutting out fruit as that is what research is telling me to do since I am obese!!! Please add me to the discussion!0

I decided to start tomorrow too! I realized I was using eating for the Super Bowl as an excuse! I just didn't want to bug friends who made food, thought I needed to eat it to be polite. But I can't delay any longer, so Feb 1st for meA,0

I'm game!
I will be just finishing a paleo challenge around the first week of Feb, and have been pleased with the results... I'd love to have some Paleo eating friends as well. So please feel free to add me, and friend me!0 -
I've been looking into this and think it will be a great way to kickstart things. I want to go either primal or paleo...haven't decided yet. I'm super nervous about failing, so any help and encouragement will be great!0

I really need to do this. This is the next step for me for sure. My boyfriend and I have not had alcohol all month for our January kick start. I may have a champagne toast with him tomorrow and then jump right into this. Yep I think that is the plan.0

I'm pretty new to MYF and Groups, etc. - just started researching Paleo so please forgive my ignorance. The Super Bowl means nothing to me, so I'll start tomorrow - please add me if you'd like.
Need a basic tip on coffee - I love and need my morning cup of cofee and I've always consumed it with half & half + sugar. I recently bought coconut palm sugar (that's good for Paleo right??) but I'm still struggling on a coffee creamer substitute that suits the Paleo diet - any suggestions out there (besides learning to drink black!)???
Coconut Milk or Almond Milk would work. Make sure you get plain -- no 'flavoring' ... that's just the added sugar.0 -
Yep, I'm in. My January Whole 30 wasn't quite as Whole 30 as I had planned towards the end of the month :laugh:0

Thinking about trying this (as it is the first today) but need to do some more research about it.0

Almond milk, unless you make it yourself,is out as it has carageenan in it.
coconut milk without added sugar is fine.
for anyone interested the book it's called " it starts with food" and the website is http://whole9life.com0 -
I would love to do it -I have been doing primal so this would help be get over my dairy fix. I just bought the book ISWF... Although I have a colonoscopy scheduled next friday so I may have to start after that. (the prep sounds awful!)0

For those of you who have not yet done a Whole 30 and indicated that you need to do some more research or had questions, I have compiled a list of the links for Whole 30, as well as the shopping list. It's easy to forget all the "rules", so I found that rereading this information was really helpful for me -

^^^ I use the last one quite a bit. Just type in a question in google or on this link and say "Can I have XXX while on Whole 30 and usually the answer pops right up.0 -
Thank you so much!0

Just read the Whole 30 do not consume list. It being Super Bowl weekend, I simply can't comply. Food no problem, Beer no way. Starting Monday.0

Don't worry about getting it 100% all the time. If you do that, you will stress yourself out, and honestly wont stick to it. You have to give your self room to improve. Give your self a cheat day (just one - okay lets not get crazy here.)
Cant afford organic chicken? Okay then get the rotisserie chicken... ball park it... You will be able to comply to this way of life, SO much easier if you don't panic that you couldn't find the nitrate free bacon...
Don't forget... condiments -- contain sugar! I'm actually gonna go out and get supplies to make my own ketchup tonight!
Also... speaking from an emotional, binge eater who was addicted to sugar and carbs... I never thought I could do this. The thought of tea with out sugar or a sweetener made me shiver... I was surprised how easily I converted over... Ive have gone from 300lbs to 284 in a month... its not much... because I haven't been able to get as much exercise as I have wanted but its a awesome start.
Good luck to all who are starting and to those who are continuing!
Please feel free to add me, Love to have some/ & give support of those like me!0 -
I've just completed Day 6. Am combining it with 21day sugar detox (will more likely be 30 day to tie in with paleo plan) as well as alternate day/ intermittent fasting. Please do add me if you wish!0

I'm on my second day of Whole 30. I'm still logging due to my diabetes but otherwise sticking to the rules. Anyone can feel free to friend me. I'd love extra motivation0
