I was a few weeks into CE when I decided I wanted more cardio so started the hybrid with TF. The first week seems very laid back though. Did anyone skip a few weeks?

I didn't skip any weeks, but I did add in my own workouts to supplement the Burn phase. Some of those workouts are very short, say 35 minutes, so after the Burn workout, I would add on 30 minutes of the elliptical, for example.
  • I was very familiar with both programs so i just kind of did my own thing, keeping in mind to keep all the essentials. (ie: making sure i did all 3 circuits, incorperated burn intervals b/c its different than anything else, making sure i do at least one long stretch a week, and from TF- making sure i do hiits every other cardio) it seems to be the right amount of intensity and work fairly well, I really like when i do hiits and circuit training on the same day because it ends up being just as long as a full cardio! :)

No. I've kept it to a 12 week program. But I've added in cardio with TF. I've also added in my own abs. I'm not following their hybrid, but doing my own in the week by week format. Actually, mine will end up being 14 weeks because of sickness and holidays.
  • I also felt like it was slow at the beginning so I switched over to the Turbofire/P90X hybrid. I'm now on week 5 of this hybrid and I love it. I also add in a 20-30 minute run on the treadmill 2-3 times a week.
