http://paleotrack.com I'm trying this out, and will be keeping my food journal there for a while. Anyone else using it yet?

I tried it for a couple weeks last summer, but found it a bit too time consuming, as I recall. I did like looking at all the extra paleo-specific data it provided, though I don't know how necessary most of it was for me. So far MFP has been the most convenient food tracker I've used.0

Never heard of it before, but I checked it out and signed up this morning. I think I like the way it breaks down all the nutrition info on one page. It's weird to me that it hasn't taken any personal info like age, sex, height and weight to analyze. It's just giving nutrition facts about food consumed. It doesn't appear to be social like MFP. It's also not tracking exercise. I think it's pretty cool, though. I like that it has paleo concerns in mind. I've gotten away from food tracking here, for various reasons, but PaleoTrack has re-lit my interest. Thanks for the tip, AJ.0

Yeah, I really like the Paleo/Primal focus on it. Plus the at-a-glance chart of where I'm at for carbs/protein/fat, and that it shows ALL the nutrition info like FitDay does. Now if he can just add in in message boards and friends and what-not, I'd be out of here. We just don't belong mixed in with the regular dieting folks here0

No joke. A lot of folks are outright hostile toward paleo dieting and fitness here on MFP. It's bizarre.0 -
bt he DOESN'T have avacado in his food list search!!! And I recentlyh found out that I really like it, too! grrr.... >:[0

You can add it I've added 3 foods that didn't already exist in his database. Looks like you can also do recipes like we can here, but I haven't tried one yet.
strych, "hostile" is a good word for it. I'm forcing myself to stay out of the other forums. It isn't just us, either, there are just some really MEAN people on the main forums. I put at least 10 of them on ignore so I don't have to read their vitriol any more.0 -

I did MFP for a long while last year and it's one of the reasons I don't have friends this time around. I just didn't want to deal with people either being mean or stupid (duh... if you eat 300 calories a day and burn 1800, you aren't being healthy!) This time around, I am limiting my friends to those who are following the same lifestyle I am. Healthy. I don't want people slamming my food choices or telling me "yay, you were under your calories" (WTF?!?)0 -

A good phone app would help also. That's how I found MFP in the first place, it had a good app for it.
I think the only group on MFP that generates similar levels of hostility are the vegans/vegetarians. There seems to be a core group of people that think they know the way to lose and people following 'other' plans are just too stupid or weak willed to have it work for them. These people seem to hop into the primal/paleo and vegan threads just to cause problems.0
