Diversity at your box

I'm just curious how diverse you guys' boxes are. At my gym I'm normally the only black guy. Well most of the time the only black person period. Is this true for the rest of you?

My box has maybe 2 black guys, and an Asian couple. The rest of us are caucasian. But this is Minnesota, so that's our population distribution.0

My class has 2 or 3 black people, 2 or 3 white people and one dude that is really white, like sun glasses wearin white. That dude don't get out much. Ours is pretty diverse, but its a new box also( 2 months old). Asian and Mexican too. Its also diverse in physical abilities and age. There are Teens up to 65 year old. They are runners, lifters, and people that have never been in shape or played sports. But ya know, we all support each other very well. I've made more friends in crossfit than I have in the gym working out. I've only been doing it for two months and I'm hooked. Theres a guy that pushes me when its a cardio thing and I push him when its a lifting thing.0

Yea Zilla I never really made friends at the big gyms either. It seems like everyone is trying to be in competition and see who the alpha male is. I've found in Xfit that only happens once. Once it's known who will usually finish first in the wods that goes away.0

I do it for me to get better. I get a fist bump whether I finish first or last, so its all good. Too many clicks at the gym. I still do my thing there but I put blinders on and ear buds in. I push myself at the gym and we push each other at the box. Except for the one chump that I'll deal with next time.0

Very cultural in Bristol UK, to be honest I have never noticed it, to busy looking at all the shoulders
To be honest I notice the very competitive ones the ones who go in for the throw down and such.0 -
My box represents the surrounding diversity well. There are probably maybe more women than men. A lot of these women are my heroes....tough as coffin nails they are.0

Mixed bag in my box too (Auckland, NZ). Usually half and half men/women. mainly white though, not sure why, probably because I live in a predominantly white area.0
