Int'l Food labels v. Net Cabs

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, but not low carb, but I have a somewhat unique question.

In the US I am used to subtracting the Fiber from the Cabs to get the Net Carbs.

Here in Australia the Carbs and Fiber are already split out, so no math necessary.

The problem comes in with the food database. Does anyone know if the Australian foods listed are done the US way or the Aussie way? I also eat US foods down here. If the database has foods listed both ways, that means my math just become harder because now I have to keep track of what is US and what is Australian?

It's getting kind of hard to keep track of total carbs, :-(

We have the same in the UK. What I do is whenever listing stuff like veg etc I use a supermarket listing that I know has the fibre listed UK style. That way I know that and any barcoded stuff I add are all the same format.
