Hi girls well my measures aren't great but I was expecting it since I haven't exercised much due to injury and illness!!!

Maybe Feb will be better for me.

Last months measures:
Belly 77.5cm /30.5inches
Waist 71.5cm /28inches
Hips 98cm /38.6inches
Right thigh 53cm /20.9inches
Left thigh 52cm /20.5 inches

This months measures:
Belly 79cm / 31inches
Waist 70.5cm /27.8inches
Hips 100cm /39.4inches
Both thighs 54cm / 21.3

I have gained 2.3inches all over!! A little depressing but expected and provided I can get back OK into it this month I can lose it again fingers crossed!!!

    Waist - 30.5
    R Thigh - 22
    L Thigh - 22.5
    R Bicep - 13
    L Bicep - 12.5
    Hips - 42.25
    Chest - 31.5
    Bust - 39.5
    Neck - 13.5

    This Month:
    Waist - 29.5
    R Thigh - 22
    L Thigh - 22.5
    R Bicep - 12.75
    L Bicep - 12.25
    Hips - 42
    Chest - 31.25
    Bust - 39.5
    Neck - 13

    This is a total loss of 2.5 inches...woo hoo! I've also lost a couple of pounds this month which is an added bonus. I did not formally track my weight here but I am on Weight Watchers (although I dont follow their system - calculated my BMR & TDEE and work off that).

    Stay motivated everyone! Already a month down!

    Last month:

    Belly - 38" (96.5cm)
    Waist - I'm measuring 3" (7.5cm) above my navel = 35" (89cm)
    Hips - 38.5" (98cm)
    Thighs - right - 20.75" (52.5 cm) left - 20.5" (52cm)
    Bust - . 43" (109cm).
    Weight - 161 lbs as of two days ago.

    Today:

    Belly - 37" (94 cm)
    Waist - 34" (86 cm)
    Hips - 37.5" (95 cm)
    Thighs - R 19.5 (49.5 cm) L 19.25 (49 cm)
    Bust - 42" (107 cm)
    Weight - 156 lbs.

    Results: Looks like I've lost about an inch off everything and 5 lbs. My thighs are where I've noticed the most difference and I think it's because I don't store much fat there so I can definitely tell they're firmer.

    For February I would really like to get my belly under 35", since that is the threshhold for high risk for type 2 diabetes, and I've already been told I'm pre-diabetic.

    Using exercise DVDs and incorporating some strength moves into my cardio exercise was a completely new experience for me. I couldn't make it through the 25 minutes of 30DS on the first day. I've been more amazed at my ability to get through entire workouts without having to pause than anything else (still working on being able to get through NMTZ), and I definitely have more energy than I did a month ago. My upper body strength is abysmal but when I started the month I could barely make it through six regular pushups and now I can do 12.

    You have both done so well I am very impressed!!

    The loss is great but the main thing I noticed in both your posts is confidence - and we need the confidence to keep us motivated and pushing through!! Remember although this is a challenge for 6 months, the changes we make will be for life so that we can continue to get stronger and eat better!!

    I am slightly devastated that I have gained this first week but it was to be expected!! This month with the back injury and more recently the chest pains I have not only not been working out as much as I would have liked but I have also turned to food as an emotional outlet (this is something I need to tackle - because I need to not turn to food when I am emotional)!!!

    Great job SciRice & Solanum Sunrise!

    My month evidently didn't pay off as I had hoped... :( The scale is slowly creeping in the wrong direction and so are most of my measurements.. I know I was truly dedicated to my exercises, so I believe I need to take a closer look at what I eat... I am going to redo the way I am controlling my food and hopefully I will have better measurments next month...

    Sorry I am late on this! Had no computer access over the weekend. This is the first time I will post measurements so here they are:

    arms: 10.5"
    Chest: 35.5"
    Waist (smallest part): 29.5"
    Waist at belly button: 34"
    hips: thighs: 22.5"

    I started out at 140 and this past week of working hard has put me 3 lbs UP! My current weight is 143lbs! Sad but will keep pushing!
