Week 5 Challenge (2/4 - 2/10 )

Woops!! Sorry ladies for posting so late...Lol. It was my birthday weekend....Need I say more ;-)

Ok, let's get to it.


Mon: Get any Turbo Fire workout in today and you will earn 50 points!! (today only!!)

Tasty Tues: Post a good recipe we can try and earn 35 points!!

Wed: Any strength training workout is worth 35 points!!

Thirsty Thur: 10 points for every 8 oz of water you drink!!

Fri: Burn at least 750 calories and earn 50 pts. (has to be on same day but can be split workouts)

Sat: Try a recipe posted to the group and earn yourself 50 pts.

Sun: Let's get ready for our mid-point weigh-in (Feb 18th)...earn 25 points for post an NSV!!


***You will get an extra 25 pts. for each day you post your Turbo Fire workouts.

    2/5 - Very Vanilla Chillnuggets!

    (1 recipe - 105 calories, 2g fat, 130mg sodium, 21g carbs, <1g fiber, 8g sugars, 1g protein)

    Ingredients:
    1 package Kellogg's Special K Snack Bites (Vanilla)
    2 tbsp. Cool Whip Free

    Directions:
    Place approximately 1/3 tbsp. of Cool Whip between each 2 snack bites, forming itty-bitty sandwiches. One package makes roughly 6 sandwiches. Pop these cuties in the freezer for about an hour & enjoy!

    TASTY TUESDAY RECIPE :)

    Quick Sweet & Sour Chicken On Brown Rice

    Ingredients
    2 tablespoons of butter
    1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
    3 cups frozen bell pepper and onion strips
    1 can pineapple chunks in juice, drained
    1/2 bottle - Kikoman Sweet and Sour Sauce
    Fresh & Easy Instat Whole Grain Brown Rice

    1.Heat butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
    2.Add pepper blend to skillet; cook 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in cooked chicken, pineapple, and sweet and sour sauce. Heat 5 minutes more or until hot.
    3.Prepare rice according to package directions. Serve chicken mixture over rice.

    SERVES 4

    Mango Slaw:

    Ingredients:
    1 Mango, Julienne
    1 1/2 c Cabbage, shredded
    1 c Carrots, shredded
    Fresh Mint, to your liking

    Dressing:
    1/4 c Lime Juice
    2 Tbsp Brown Sugar or Maple Syrup (I use both)
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp Ginger, minced

    Directions:
    Whisk together Dressing ingredients and toss with Mango, Cabbage, Carrots and Mint. Allow to marinate at least 20 minutes before serving.

    Here is a shake recipe that I love (:heart: shakes)

    Banana Nut Bliss

    1cup of vanilla almond breeze (unsweetened soy and lactose free milk) I use
    1/2 ground cinnamon
    2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
    1 scoop of vanilla protein powder


    Now I have a favorite recipe on skinnytaste.com I dont know if you guys heard of her but everything I have cooked of her page is delicious.
