Cycle 1, day 1

Hello everyone!

Over the past week I have read the book and done lots of research. I prepared my kitchen and myself to start today and to be successful, but I did not prepare for how nasty the water in the morning and the green tea was. WOW! That "wake-up drink" was a hurdle for me to get down. And the green tea...blah! Got to do it though! Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs and half a cup of red grapes. Having a bottle of water then getting on my 30 day shred! Hoping for great results in cycle 1!

    You will get great results! Try throwing stevia in the green tea. I must admit I skip the morning water lol.
    PS you might feel less than stellar the first few days, but it will pass and then you feel great. It's your body getting off the carbs. I've done C1 several times.
  • Thanks! I did use the truvia because I read on another forum post here that everyone was using it in their green tea. I used in the hot lemon water too, but it was still REALLY gross.
  • Lunch was salad with tuna (not mixed with mayo) drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with a little salt and pepper. Oh and the dreaded green tea...was a little better this time because I put the truvia in before the tea bag and let it brew that way.

    Back to the drawing board. Cycle 1 day 1 for me again. I lost 11 pounds in January on Cycle 1 and then completely fell off of the wagon and got ran over. Gained 3 pounds back. Time to start over. Today is a new beginning! I climbed back on. The rut marks will soon disappear!
  • I didn't last a whole day. I find the low calories hard to handle, but I have been sticking to calories and plan to continue that and maybe one day I will give it a go again.
