Me too! Just got back from it, it really was not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be! I have to agree with others now who say it's a mental block..once I got past that and just accepted that I WAS doing this and there was no point in that little voice in my head saying "I can't, I can't" it was relatively smooth sailing! Oh I also kept saying in my head that my husband was going to give me a nice calf massage later LOL after the run I told him he better not let my inner voice down as that was what kept me moving!

I just finished W5D3 last night and it felt amazing. I was very surprised with myself for being able to do it. It seemed that the second 10 minutes of jogging went much better than the beginning 10 minutes.

Yay, David! Congrats on making it through the 20 minutes! Keep up the good work.

I still find the first 10 minutes of a jog the hardest.

I did it today!!!!! I messed around all day worried I wouldn't make it. Talked with my doctor, who told me "You are NOT getting out of this 5K!", started with pain (reason for said specialist doctor)...and made it!! I knew it was going to be mental, so I figured out which song would end after the 20 minutes was up so I wouldn't look at the timer. It flew by. Then I walked a bit, and decided to run through two more songs. 5K, here I come!

Songs...cause they are fun...I started with one called "Ignition", and ended with one called "Eye on It", with very last words of my run today "I got my eye on it, and I will not quit!"

I spent almost four weeks on week four. I did the second and third times through on elliptical machines waiting for medical clearance, then repeated it a fourth time running again.

    Soooo excited!!
