I just signed up for The Color Run that is going to be here in Louisville, KY on June 8th. I am super excited about this! I plan on being even skinnier by then and I'm going to start training to be able to run most of it. I can do this! My best friend is doing it with me and I've gotten a couple other friends to sign up as well so we have a 4 person team. You all should check to see if there is one near you! www.thecolorrun.com! And this morning the scale was nice and had me in the 180's finally! YES! I am uber excited about this! I've met my goal of getting under 190! Next goal! Get under 180! *grins*

    My husband, MIL and I are doing the Atlanta Colour Run on Apr. 6th, which is also my 25th birthday! I'm beyond excited. Have been working on my stamina and I think I could run the whole thing now, although I've heard it gets a little backed up at the colour stations. Congrats on signing up, it's such a cool idea and a great way to get running! It will be my first 5k, and I have a feeling there will be many more. :bigsmile:

    kate: I am doing the ATL Color Run too! I am not able to run it though, due to some medical troubles but I am going to walk the whole thing. I used to do the Aids Walk in ATL several years back but that was before I'd gained "so much" weight. So I am counting this as my first real 5K, even though it's a walk as well.
    We have a couple friends from work going and are trying to get the group discount (it's only $5 but it is a small motivation). Good luck and maybe we'll see each other there! LOL

    Doing the Color Run in Montreal Canada in August with a bunch of my gal pals.... really lokking forward to it!

    I'm doing the Color Run in Richmond, VA in September! I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun. I have friends who are new to running that are training to run with me. I'm so proud of them! Good luck everyone!
