Nutrition Question.

Hey everyone, I need some help, I'm pretty lost.
I'm doing C25K right now, and jumping from completing it into a 12 week half marathon training as soon as C25K is finished. Right now I'm only on week 4 and its not a big deal, but what do you eat before/after the longer runs?
I have Celiacs so that takes out most of the normal things. I also cannot have dairy/corn/treenuts/peanuts/oatmeal....There are very few protein bars I can eat, chocolate milk (which I have heard is that best post-run drink ever) is also out.
Besides rice and quinoa, what else is there?

I don't eat anything special. You're not really running long enough to need to carb-load. You might need to for a half-marathon. Perhaps the Cool Running or Active.com sites might have some ideas.... I know there's specialty foods/drinks for athletes that are basically just sugar and salt.0

I'm have food allergies too.
I would go for a piece of fruit (banana, orange etc) before and protein after (eggs, meat).

I was pretty sure I didn't need anything now, but I will need to change my eating for the half marathon, especially since all my carbs right now come from fruit and veggies. I googled my question, but just kept coming up with same info, and very little at that. Apparently gluten free runners are not the norm lol. I think I know what you are talking about with the sugar/salt drink.0 -

Allergies are fun, eh? Thanks, thats what I'm doingn now, I'm glad I'm not totally off track with that right.0
