SO UPSET! Gained 5lbs over the weekend!

So I thought I was doing pretty good on JMBR. I lost 4lbs last week. Then I went to the mountains with family and I lost all control. I had wine, pizza, popcorn, you name it. Anyway I came back and saw I was UP 5lbs! There's no way I ate THAT many calories to be up 5lbs. I was thisclose to just giving up but somehow, someway I drug myself out bed today and did my JM workout.

Please help me explain why I am suddenly up 5lbs in 2 days when I lost 4lbs last week. I am ready to cry right now. :sad:

    Hi Lisa! I feel your pain but don't beat yourself up over it. I would give yourself a couple of days to get back in your routine. I'm finding the scale is not a very nice thing all the time and I'm actually trying NOT to weigh in so frequently because I go up and down 2lbs every day which is frustrating. Get back in action and you'll be fine. Next trip maybe bring some alternative healthier options to balance out the diet breakers. The wine is a keeper though!

    Don't forget the scales weigh everything on them so if you was eating pizza and other high salt/sugar foods and drinking alcohol i'm guessing you have a lot of water retention. Don't give up, even if that was 5lbs of fat you would still have better muscle tone under it and the fat would come off quicker next time. I know we all weigh ourselves but sometimes it's about more than a figure on a scale. good luck. xx

    Eat clean and drink lots of water for the next few days and you'll be back down I promise.
