So I just started C25K about a week and a half ago... It's really hard for me to get 3 runs in a week, that's a whole different issue though. I wanted to ask if anyone actually gained weight after initially starting the program? I am up almost 1lb since starting all this. While my eating habits were not the best, they were also not the worst, by far. I was just thinking it may be from the new routine... anyone else see results like this?

When starting a new exercise, the body will sometimes retain water until it gets use to the new exercise. It helps the body fight the additional sweat, muscle building/repair, etc. That can cause an unexpected weight gain or reduced loss at first. Also, make sure to take measurements sometimes I find I have loss inches but no weight.

I didn't have that issue, but wanted to congratulate you on starting the program!

Yes, I gain a couple pounds when I make a significant change in exercise. It's usually water weight the first week, then increased muscle mass after that. Then it goes back down. Track your measurements during this time it will help. Or if you don't have a starting base of measurements before the weight gain, your clothes will likely fit better and you can monitor that.
