Has anyone experienced breasthing problems while exercising. I thought and it still could be that I breath through my mouth. I work out everyday and usually run weekends 1.25 miles. I could run more, no fatigue on mucsles but my breathing gets the best of me and have to slow down. regular runners have told me to chew gum whlile running anfd although it helped initailly it didnt overall. I read in Dr. Mary Shomens book they thyroid Diet that breathing problems like i explained above can be a sympton of Hypothyroidism. I figured I'd ask. Short of seeing a doctor about it

I always struggle with breathing. it might be to do with chest breathing versus adominal breathing. lie fat and breath deeply and see if you breath from your chest or lower down.0
