So I'm doing a 5K in a month! I'm excited and not too worried since it's not time and it all about being blasted with colorful corn starch and having fun but I do want to do well. My team captain/coworker is really fit and athletic. I'm becoming more active and my body adapts to being active but I'm overweight and asthmatic and I don't want to slow down the team.

I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to get in enough training time on the treadmill on the treadmill to feel okay on race day.

Any tips for getting ready in about half the time?

Just do the C25K program as written. You should be able to manage a 5k at a jog (even if you need to walk sometimes) at 5 weeks. I'm thinking about doing the color run next year with my kids. It looks awesome.
  • I just signed up for a color run too! Mine is in May though so I'll have time to complete the program beforehand. A friend of mine did this last year and said it's a blast so I'm excited for it
