My name is Krista Remp.
I am 26 years old and a stay at home mom. I am also an avid couponer and blogger.
I tend to go to the Y on week day mornings. You can typically find me in the time frame of 8:45-10:30 am. I occasionally go on weekends, but that is usually our family time.
My Goals:
I would like to look great in my matron of honor dress for my sisters in May.
I am signed up for the Utica Boilermaker 5k (I did this race last year as well), I would like to beat last years time of 36 minutes.
I would like to lose about 30-40 lbs.
I would like to get healthier and be a better example for my children.0 -

My name is Nancy Moffett. I am a wife, Mom, daughter, aunt, sister and friend.
I work full-time for two medical offices as a billing specialist.
My hobbies include sewing, reading, watercolors, writing and journaling but at present my family, the Y, and
work are consuming the majority of my time.
I work out at the Y early in the mornings, anywhere from 6:00AM to 10:00AM on Monday to Saturdays.
My goals:
To walk without my walker.
My short term weight loss goal is to drop 20lbs during this competition but much more long-term.

I'm Jessica,this is my second time doing the BW, last time I won the title so I'm trying hard again! I lost 28 pounds, so just know if you stick with it, you can be successful. My goal is to lose 90 pounds and I have about 60 more to go. I also want my girls to grow up seeing healthy habits and exercising. I'm a stay at home mom. I have two girls ages 2 years and 10 months. I work out in the mornings at the Y, usually from 9-11ish. I do workout in the afternoon at home as well some days. I'm currently training for the 5 miler, Johnny's Running of the Green. I'm also doing the color run 5k in April.0

Hi, I'm Meredith, this is my third time doing the BW at the Y. I was the winner for the first time they had the contest and had to drop out the second time due to any injury. But I'm back and feeling great now! I'm not too concerned about winning, just to keep losing weight. I have about 30 lbs more to go before I get to my goal weight and I just want to get there already!
Unlike everyone else so far, I work out in the evenings (mostly after 5:30) and on weekends (in the mornings). I am relatively new out of a long term relationship and don't have kids - so trying to get on with this new phase of my life!
My goals are:
To keep losing weight and get to my weight goal
To build muscle

Hi Krista, I'm Ken, this is my second time doing the BW at the Y. I started out with a bang but the summer and the activities got the best of me. I'm back and hopefully since it is winter and not a lot going on, golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, etc I can keep up my schedule of going daily and reaching my goal. It is ambicious. I want to altimately loose 70 lbs. this year. I also am not too concerned about winning, just to keep losing weight.
I am retired so my visits to the Y tend to be when ever I can fit it in. Usually in the early afternoon. I am doing this with my wife, it sorta gives us some time of us doing something together. She works a lot and my hobbies don't really line up with hers. I really enjoy gardening, hunting, fishing, traveling, wine, and cooking.
My goals are:
To keep losing weight and get to my weight goal
To feel better
To reduce body fat
and get back to buying clothes in the regular sections of the store instead of the big and tall!0 -

I am retired. I watch my grand daughters 2 or 3 days a week and whenever needed (I split the time with the other "grandma")........ I'm married and have one son who settled here in Rochester after college (he went to Geneseo). I originally come from NYC. I love living here in Rochester - been here almost 4 years now.........
I usually workout early mornings (when the Y first opens) at least 4 or 5 times per week. Once in awhile I do some sort of exercise at home. We have WII Fitness, a cardio cruiser and free weights in the house. Go for a walk once in awhile in the afternoon.
My goal this time around (this is my 3rd challenge with the Y) was to get under 200 lbs. It is going slow - but I am working out and eating healthy. I really am interested in getting more fit - I was at a point where I had trouble just walking from one room to another.0 -
Hi! , I'm Julia. This is my first time doing the challenge. My goal is to lose 70 lbs total.(not in just one challenge). I am 25 and a mother of two. (7 year old & 14 month old).
My boyfriend Roberto is also doing the challenge with me so that keeps me motivated!!
I normally work 11-7 so sometimes it's hard to find time to make time to get to the y. But been able to make it about 3x/wk
I think the biggest change for me was fixing my diet. I've cut out soda and prepared food and added a lot more veggies.
I want to:
Lose weight
Gain muscle
Gain self-confidence

Hi! Thank you for creating this group.. great idea! My name is Amber and I'm 25 years old. This is my first time doing the Biggest Winner Challenge. I am a work at home mom of 2 (7 years old and 21 months old) I have a flexible schedule but am usually at the Y during the day, anytime between 10 and 2. My son has some chronic medical issues and I am getting healthy for him! My story is complex, but I am thrilled to be a part of this challenge and look forward to meeting some work out buddies!0
