I did it. :drinker: I managed a zero yesterday althought tempted to have one glass of relaxation wine. Scale was very punishing today, up 3.4 lbs.

Plan: I will have a one day pass until SPD.

Chloe, I'm with you in the cold. MN is freakin' cold.

Dot, your secret is safe with us.

Gary, sounds like a perfect time. 1 lb. is doable, right?

    Ohhhhh, Kates in the mode!!!

I hear ya Katie...it's not Hawaii for me (so jealous) but bathing suit/spa weather at a Palm Springs Resort at the end of March. I'd LOVE to drop 5 lbs (or more!) before then. Had a good workout and cooked with red wine, but refrained.
    Mon-0
    Tues-0
I think I will go for another 0 and see if the scale responds. Altho that open bottle of red is just sitting there.

An open bottle of wine doesn't have a very good chance in our house..... I have thought about keeping the box wine around to save money, but I don't think I have the willpower to not just give a little pour everyday. Or at noon on a day off work.

I hear ya better! The thought of it just sitting there going to waste just makes my lush self sad. And the husband doesn't drink wine, so I cant even make him polish it off.

Husband is done with earnings in the next week to week and a half so then I'll be getting some 0's  In the meantime this lush is lushing.

We used to have boxed wine all the time BUT I drank it every single day so for the last month we have just been treating ourselves to nicer bottles on the weekends. I have become fairly conditioned to not drink during the week...we have an open bottle of red and an open bottle of white still around from the weekend

I had to stop buying box wine for the exact same reason....I used it like I use the water dispenser on my fridge! Just fill up whenever I feel like it!

    T - 2 glasses of Malbec
    W - a 312

Look at that moderation! I wasn't going to drink but a friend came over to watch the UK game. I made a cocktail of 99 berries and ginger ale and it was terrible so I opened a beer. I had calories for another, but had to weigh in today so opted for just the 1. I'm off tomorrow, so may grab a bottle of wine on the way home, which means I'll drink at least half. We'll see.

Monday, 1.5 glasses of wine with lunch, 32 oz Dos Equis, 4 12 oz-ish margs (<<<<<<<this is embarrassing)
    Tuesday, 0
    Wednesday, 0

    Total: 8.5

I work this weekend so it should be easy to be alcohol-free.

Very nice moderation Ashley, hope the scale rewards you nicely.

Yes - get a bottle since it turns out to be cheaper.

Of course a third. And probably a flight of beer on the way home.

Kim - my thought exactly. My husband and I get a bottle of wine 80% of the time at dinner. We're being economical!

Oh, and the scale was nice, 1 pound lost. I've had a 2 pound gain over the last 3 weeks so a loss was nice to see.

HA no beer Ashley, funny very very funny...we do that a lot huh

Don't think we will split. I am getting chicken (boring, I know) so white goes better and he will probably get a steak or some kind of meat so red will pair better. I'll probably do 2 at the restaurant and 1 either before dinner or after.

And in case anyone cares to know, today is not only Lenny's bday  but it is also National Sticky Bun day

    That was funny!!

I always get the bottle of wine and hubs just has a drink. I used to feel awkward with a whole bottle to myself but now I love it.

Kate, with Lenny's birthday & sticky bun day.....you might end up with sticky buns yourself

I would put some saran wrap over it BUT it would have to drank sooner than later and by sooner I mean before you put the saran wrap on it  I tease I tease but you wouldn't want it to sit too long without a stopper!

Haven't seen that in forever. I've had some weird stomach issues, so that's helped with the lushiness. Husband is working late tonight so I may enjoy a quiet night with a glass of red in front of the fire. Its cold here.

Enjoy the bday celebration Katie! And great job moderating everyone else. And Kyler...I usually drink wine quickly enough so that the cork issue doesn't matter...but I've stuffed paper towels in there before. It's your duty to go ahead and finish it up promptly though. :drinker:

My Gramma bought us these amazing stoppers for Christmas. They adjust to any bottle so I no longer have the excuse that I need to drink the whole bottle of champagne or it'll go flat :blushing:

    Have fun tonight Kate!

    Nice 0's SoCal :flowerforyou:

Sorry I have been MIA. The witch has been slave driving and in particulary hurtful form so as soon as I get home I drink and don't want to get on the computer or anything. I am sneaking a minute right now at lunch but she we probably get snarky. I am officially going to file a hostile workplace complaint on Monday.

    Catch you later lushes.

I'm so sorry mama lush :flowerforyou:
The husband lucked out and got from under his sh!tty work situation but he still witnesses and deals plenty of horrible people and situations up in your office. (One woman in particular...how weird would it be if it's your boss?) I will keep my fingers crossed that all works out well for you.

Ugh, Mama Lush, I'm so sorry that she's being such a B. No one should be that miserable at their job.

I have conferences tonight, so I know I'll have a couple when I get home. I had a vodka, lemonade, lime juice last night. It was very summery amidst the snow we had.

So sorry Mama Lush =\ hope things get better soon! Don't blame you on wanting to go home have a drink and stay away from the computer.

I'll be having some wine soon while I watch my shows.

Ohhhh, mama....hope it gets better, Ron was there not long ago...thank God, he has new accounts that respect him.

Dot, that's one thing about teaching...you have to deal with all the parents as well...ugh!! Mine is opposite, I have to deal with the kids of older adults. Double ugh!!

I've put foil over the partial unused bottle...but, stoppers would be a good investment

Kat, I feel like you will still drink the whole bottle...it's just a hunch
