pork apples and cabbage

this is a crock pot recipe.
I take 5 pork chops
3 apples cored,peeled and sliced
1 onion
and 1 head of cabbage diced fine into bit e size pieces
1 cup apple juice(no sugar added)100% fruit juice
1 cinnamon stick
season salt
I spray the crock or I use a liner
add the cabbage,top it with the onions, and apples and then top with pork chops(also have done pork loin or roast depends on what is on sale)I then add the apple juice,cinnamon stick and sprinkle the chops lightly with my favorite season salt.I then cook on low for 6 to 7 hours .Low calorie,yummy and easy and my family loves it

    Sounds great. I love cooking with apples--adds all sorts of yummy good-for-you stuff.
    What is your mainstay for keeping carb sides down?

    I allow myself them 2 or 3 times a week.I plan to have them and I do what I can to make them as low as calorie as i can.It is something i still struggle with.I am working on it.Everything in moderation.
