Why does Week 6 look too easy?

I just completed W5D3 (20 min run) yesterday and I'm looking ahead to week 6. Is it just me or does W6D1 (10 run, 5 walk, 10 run) seem too easy of a progression? Is that the point- to build my confidence and likely increase my speed for week 6? Did I download a poor quality app to follow?

My app is way different. W5D3 was 2 eight minute runs separated by a 5 minute walk. I don't do 20 minutes until W7D1.

I think it's just getting you ready for Week 7. That was the week that kicked my butt. :ohwell: Enjoy the "lazy" week! :flowerforyou:

The dirty little secret is that the walks SUCK. You're running...just getting into your groove...then you walk FOREVER...then you have to get your butt in gear to run *again*. So you slog through it. Week 7 is hard physically but, by the end of it, you found some form and you've built some real endurance. It starts getting easier. The real reason, though, you're willing to get it in gear during week 7 is because anything is better than those week 6 walks.*

Thanks, everyone! I will stick with it as planned, especially if it makes me like week 7 even better. After doing the 20 minutes, I felt like a champion, so hopefully week 6 will make me eager for 7. I never imagined I'd be looking forward to the running parts and dreading the walking parts of this program.
