  • I re-took week 1 as I didnt feel I gave it 100% and ate stuff I shouldnt have done. So I am now on W2D2. I am interested to see what my stats will reveal next Monday though.

Well done girls on your progress so far. Its early days, we are only about 25% of the way through so plenty of time to dig deeper and reap the rewards :-)

    Hi Ladies,

Wasn't to keen on repeating the fit test as I thought I would do really badly.......however:

    Switch Kicks - 25/34
    Power Jacks - 40/48
    Power Knees - 69/84
Power Jumps are evil and created by the skinny devil - 28/35
    Globe Jumps - 8/11
Suicide Jumps are the same level of evil as PJ - 9/14
    Push-Up Jacks - 23/26
    Low Plank Oblique - 43/48

Quite proud of myself actually :-)

bah, i posted mine in the "first stats" thread, which was pretty silly in retrospect. i'll re-post them here:

    Fit test Day 1/Day 15

Switch kicks: 59/54 (note that the first time i did this fit test, i did not get my feet more than 6 inches off the floor for these, the second time i did them right, kicks at about waist height which is why the number is lower i think)
    power jacks: 50/58
    power knees: 109/120
    power jumps: 30/45 (!!)
    globe jumps: 11/13
    suicide jumps: 23/25
    pushup jacks: 22/27
    low plank oblique 69/75

i'm pretty impressed! i did the whole fit test without looking at the numbers from my first one and just compared them at the end so i wouldn't get discouraged if i didn't beat my scores, but i guess i didn't need to do that! i definitely feel like i can jump better. this is pretty cool! how is everyone else doing?

A little late, considering my second fit test was on 2/18, but here were the results between test 1 and test 2:

    SwitchKicks: 38 / 52 (2 kicks= 1 rep)
    PowerJacks: 35 / 50
    PowerKnees: 86 / 94
    PowerJumps: 30 / 34
    GlobeJumps: 7 / 9 (1 full rotation = 1 rep)
    SuicideJumps: 17 / 18
    Push-UpJacks: 23 / 27
    LowPlankOblique: 28 / 45

All in all, those were some great results. And as I get to the end of my 4th week, I definitely feel like a break is in order (both physically and mentally). I'm not sure I'll see as large an improvement when I do fit test #3, but I have to believe there are some pretty positive changes happening with my fitness. I'm a little nervous about what month 2 is going to bring.

    This was yesterday for me:

    Switch Kicks: 62 to 80
    Power Jacks: 42 to 48
    Power Knees: 57 to 73
    Power Jumps: 25 to 21
    Globe Jumps: 8 to 11
    Suicide Jumps: 15 to16
    Push Up Jacks: 21 to19
Low Plank Obliques: 44 to 50

I suppose I should be happy with these results overall. I noticed my form slipping in the first exercise, so I toned it back a bit. During the Power Knees I really tried to push harder and wore myself out a bit for the Power Jumps. I think I have better form with push ups, and being a lot more mindful of my shoulders, so the decrease to 19 is ok. I had a LOT of trouble with the last exercise and my shoulders.
  • Height: 5'5in
Weight: 173.5lb /175 (official weigh in at 8.30am)
    BMI:

Measurements (will update shortly - not much has changed))
    Chest (narrowest): 87cm
    Waist: (narrowest) 86cm
    Hips (bone): 101cm
    Thigh (fattest): 64.5cm
    Knee: 40cm

    Moves
    SwitchKicks: 57 / 51
    PowerJacks: 36 / 51
    PowerKnees: 65 / 99
    PowerJumps: 15 / 27
    GlobeJumps: 5 /10
    SuicideJumps: 11 / 15
    Push-UpJacks: 10 / 16
    LowPlankOblique: 44 / 60

I did these without looking at the first week stats. Am a little disappointed at the switch kick result but I am not wholly surprised as I find these really difficult. I would say that I did more of a jump and lifted my leg higher this time so i am not going to beat myself up. Especially not since I I nearly doubled my power jumps and did double my globe jumps. Am really surprised by some of the improvements actually.

    Keeps me motivated :-0
  • Just taken my measurements. Expected it to remain the same but there is actually a small loss :-)

    Measurements
    Chest (narrowest): 87cm / 86cm
    Waist: (narrowest) 86cm / 84cm
    Hips (bone): 101cm / 100.5cm
    Thigh (fattest): 64.5cm / 63.5cm
    Knee: 40cm / 40cm
    Arm (fattest) ? / 34cm

    I Actually took 3 weeks to do what should have been 2. I am hoping to do better this next round;
    fit test 1st/2nd
    switch kicks 46/47
    power jacks 41/50
    power knees 63/74
    power jumps33/37
    globe jumps 7/8
    suc jumps 10/13
    push up jacks 13/16
    lp obliq 46/53

honestly I was hoping for more improvement on some.
sometimes I can tell a difference during the work outs but for the most part I feel just as exhausted as when I started
also I have lost one inch each on waist and hips.
    but have gained 3 1/2lbs!!!
