    Congrats Chloe!!!

Lets see, a mix of beer and mixed drinks yesterday. Today, lots of cleaning and maybe a 0 on the booze front.

Congrats (again) Chloe! That 9 months was the longest I have ever gone without drinking. It wasn't as hard as I thought, but I definitely was ready to have a buzz again. Yay!

I drank a lot of days again last week but didn't get schmammered, so that's good. Friday night I kept it to 2 rum and ginger ales and 3 glasses of red. Saturday I drank a lot, but over a long time period. 2 pints of Magners at lunch, a glass of red with friend on the deck (in the sun). Then she went home and my husband went to Lexington to watch the Cats game, so I finished both bottles of wine. About 6 more glasses over the course of the night. I was drunk, but remember going to bed, which is my goal this month. Looks like I only got drunker than intended once this month. Yipee! Modertaion has been better. Next month, I'll work on cutting out a few days of booze. Oh, last night I had about 4 glasses of wine. 0 tonight. Tomorrow I have plans with my friend, so I'll drink some, but not much beccause she's pregnant. Wednesday we have a friend staying wiht us, so I'll drink and Thursday night my husband is prepping for a colonoscopy, so that should be fun. May need to drink through that.....

I had 4oz of Beaujolais last night. I poured Eric a glass, took a sip, it tasted good, so I emptied the rest of the bottle into my glass and now it's gone. Tonight I reckon I'll have 3 drinks. No work for me tomorrow.

Congrats Chloe. When is your due date?

I know about not saying anything because I am going to be grandma again the end of September but we aren't saying anything cuz it is still early.

I noticed that my daughter didn't have a drink at all during Olivia's birthday party. It was then confirmed while we were in Kauai.

Please don't lose touch with us all.

So I haven't filed the complaint yet because I can't get HR to respond to my request. I may have to by pass them and go thru ethics.

drinking tooo much to cope. later lushes!

Going for 0 tonight. The weather is gorgeous here...up to 80s by the end of the week and its making me work harder to get in bathing suit form for my trip. No one wants a fat old lady by the pool at Spring Break.

Oh yea and it is sad how many people are going to figure out I am pregnant just because I am not drinking. Sunday we had a brunch at our house and I had a virgin bloody mary and a couple soda water and limes so people would think I was drinking vodka.

Yeah, definitely easier to get 0's when husband is home at a normal time. Perhaps another 0 tonight.

I ended up telling the majority of my friends very early (like the day we found out) because we had to attend a wedding reception and my mocktail was a different color than theirs and I was immediately called out for being pregnant.....

I just made the most healthy-ish BAD food. It's like bar-food without guilt

.................................because it's all baked and seasoned to PERFECTION

The first is Oven Crisp Chicken Wings...................WHAT!!!

    http://www.food.com/recipe/oven-crisp-chicken-wings-40497

Heres' my modifications: only use 1/2 of the butter, melt it in a measuring cup and baste them when they are about 1/2 done. You just want to keep the dry rub moist - so, you may also try 1/2 olive oil and 1/2 butter - but, they kind of self-baste and you really don't need a lot of butter.

Changes for next time: I would cut back on the garlic salt since it has so much sodium. Use 3/4 t. granulated garlic and 1/4 salt. A lot of the rub falls off so I am not sure how much sodium you actually end up ingesting.

No hot sauce for me because they were already spicy good.

    2 wings/4 sections is cals 266, fat 18, sodium 481

    Next.........................Up

    Seasoned Yukon Gold Wedges Recipes

I was looking for a way to get rid of some Yukons

    http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Seasoned-Yukon-Gold-Wedges

OMG.....tasted better than any restaurant - guaranteed comfort food

Only change I made was I used Pimenton (Spanish paprika) instead of normal - it gave a superb smoky :smokin: flavor. Again, a lot of the rub falls off so I am not sure how accurate the sodium would be.

A seasoned sour cream would be great for dipping - but - that would be extreme naughty behavior

    3/4 of a cup is 121 calories, 3 g fat, 339 Na - I found in the MFP database

Oh.........I did eat a cup of steamed broccoli for a healthy veggie....LOL

Kim- Your wings sound LUSH-is!

Tonight we had steamed shrimp, cut up and seasoned with curry, onion, cinnaman, and mixed with olive oil mayo. I had it in a low carb wrap with pico de gallo and sour cream.

    Yummy!

Yeah I caved. Husband went up to work out and I folded some laundry and am now having wine, oops.

Kate, it's the perfect bar food but kind of healthy...you can bake them together at 425 for about 45 minutes....add a seasoned sour cream or blue cheese dip if you're feeling especially naughty.

I also couldn't stop eating the potato wedges - definitely use the spanish paprika

Plan is for another zero tonight...supposed to go away this weekend and I am sure to lush it up

Weight is back down this week from the gain of last week. whoosh!! Even after my moderately controlled naughty foods.

I ended up having a glass of red last night. For health reasons only of course.

I actually slept super well so I may go for another glass tonite. If I don't sleep then I don't get in good exercise, then I eat like crap, etc, etc.
