Looks good. I also signed up for the beta.0

I wish I had the time and energy for beta.
Then again I don't want to ruin the anticipation. :bigsmile:0 -
Absolutely looking forward to it... I signed up for the beta as well... fingers crossed.
Explore all of Tamriel!0 -
ohhhhhh yessss. Waiting to see if I got accepted into beta *fingers crossed*0
-
yup signed up for beta - may as well lose as much weight as possible now because I don't think I'll be moving much once it's out lol0
-
and me...does anyone know when the beta begins?

I'm excited but depressed... I will have to buy a new maching in order to play it. The old laptop won't be able to handle it.0

Explore all of Tamriel!
Yess!!! That's the part I'm looking forward to the most!
I read all of the Skyrim books and am such a lorehound now. I can't wait to see all those places!
Once a history freak, always a history freak eh? Even if it's fantasy "history" that never actually happened. :laugh:0 -
I'm really hoping it does well, i need a break from WoW lol0
-
I'm!!!!!!!!!UGH I try to refrain from talking about it too much because I'm just so excited. If my computer can't handle it I'll cry big Ghibli tears. I've heard a lot of criticism from more diehard fans, especially about the cinematic trailer and the possible new daedric lords (?????someone confirm though this might have been tumblr gossip). I'm just stoked on exploring EVERYTHING!!!
Also helps that my favorite little nasty is the main villain. A Lord of Domination and Corruption can steal this soul any day. :smokin:0 -
I want to play!!!! I have never had any experience in Elder Scrolls, but my fiance loves the series. I'm getting bored of WoW and really toying with the idea of quitting so this would be a good thing to give it up for xD And learning a new games lore that I'm totally unfamiliar with is one of my fav things to do LOL0

Per a very recent Joystiq article I read, "the end of March". But nothing specific has come out from ZeniMax0 -
Also signed up for beta. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with it.0

Y'all just be aware of all the ESO beta phishing scams that are going on. Check Bethesda's (official!) forums for details. Happy gaming!0
-
Glad y'all posted this, I had forgotten to check back to look for beta signups!0
-
Can't wait for beta, I heard that invites might go out soon (early / mid March)0
-
I've purposely avoided WoW because i know I'd love it. Will probably do the same here.0

I have really mixed feelings! I loved the last three games (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind) so much that I really hope this is even better - but I'm worried it won't be! I haven't even looked at the system requirements yet, but quite possibly I won't be able to play it anyway. Back to adding mods to the other games, then!0

You'd be surprised - PC games (especially MMO) have been really doing great with optimizing games for both high and low end. Whilst they haven't released system req. info yet I suspect that if you can run Skyrim, you'll be able to run the MMO (judging from screen shots I've seen.)
I guess time will tell when the beta launches sometime this month.
Edit: Found this link that has the requirements on it, but not sure if they're legit though.

I so cannot wait for ESO!
I was wary when they first mentioned they were going to use the Hero Engine (same engine as SWTOR), but then they recanted on that, after the huge outcry from fans. They said they were building their own in-house engine and only used Hero as a testbed. Thank goodness.0 -

Thank you for posting the link! It looks like my GPU might not be up to it .0 -

I think a modified version of the Hero Engine will be great! It's no Frostbite or CryEngine, but they have to develop for a larger base Totally agree with you though!
And I'm playing through my 400th hour of Skyrim... all the while drooling over exploring Tamriel soon
Also, Dree, excellent job losing 103 pounds! That's amazing, inspiring and phenomenal! Congrats!0 -
Morrowind was my favourite game ever, loved skyrim and oblivion aswell.
Not sure what online will be like. I dont have huge expectations. I will wait till it comes out and give it a shot0 -
MMOs make me nervous. I have a toddler, so no pause button worries me...but I did play some SWTOR and it was okay, so I think this will be work playing a little, even just for the lore. I'm a lore addict.0

Sooo freaking much. Did the beta sign up as well.
If yall are TESO fans and looking for a place to discuss it while waiting, check out:

Over there I am "Anex".0 -
i'm not. Online gaming tends to suck for a variety of reasons.
*sigh* I wish they would just come up with a new game for offline gamers instead of online. *kicks stuff*0 -
I signed up for the beta. Now I just wish the beta would hurry up and start.0

I'm actually hoping that they take their online material and make it available for solo RPG playthrough. That would rock so much.
I enjoy MMORPG and solo RPG both. I really hope ESO will afford a lot of solo content that will just allow me to explore the game at my leisure and follow quest chains like WoW does, with grouping being optional. Blizzard seems to have found a good balance with that. I hope Bethesda pays attention.0 -
Can't wait. I hope I won't make the same "mistakes" as with WoW (if making too many game-friends and getting too involved is a mistake...) - but I doubt I'll be able to resist.
Not signing up for beta though. Not a fan of beta in general. Finish your game, pls, and I'll buy and play it when it's done.0
