guy from melb looking for walking buddies

 Hi Guys my name is Stuart. I am 50 years old and have been morbidly obese for the past 10 years. Have started losing weight for the first time in over 13 years. Have lost about 15kg since the 1st January. Feeling heaps better, but still have so much to lose. Starting to struggle for motivation. Getting sore and demaotvated. Spend a LOT of time on my own and that is how I got so overweight in the first place. looking for a walking, riding companion to keep me motivated and hopefully in turn motivate the companion/s. I live north of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Feel free to leave a response if interested in being a walking, exercise companion. Just to let you know. Don't expect me to do any power walking. I plan to do a little more each day, but have to take it easy. Just looking to improve slowly, so as not to cause too many aches and pains, that will force me to stop moving altogether. Good luck to all those on the same journey. Its a tough one, but with support from others, i'm sure we can all get there.

:( I live closer to the CBD on the other side of the city. I'd walk with you for hours (my fitbit wont let me quit till I hit 20,000 steps) but I'd have to walk there to start with. Sore unfortunately seems to be the way with walking, my feet are killing me. Pity they don't when I run.

Keep it up, take an audio book along with you or go one better....dance as you walk :)
