Mornin :)

I am new to this group. I had my surgery back in '07...weighed in right at 300lbs at a height of 5.5...Post surgery My lowest and happiest was when I got married in '10...I was 125.

Present day ('12) I am 176 and working my way to get back down...2 weeks(ish) ago I was at 193, and almost in tears...I new where I was headed and didnt wanna go back down that road...so I did some research and started the RX weightloss...it helped take back control of my portions as well as give extra energy for the gym.....

So today starts a new journey...a full physical...and an appt with the Gastric Bypass doc/dietician....to help get me back on track...yes the RX weightloss has been amazing! right up until I found out my BP yesterday....def. not good....150/110.

So here we go...I'm sooo nervous!

I am in your same position, I had GBS in 07, lowest was 211, busted my ACL last year and now in 2012 I am back to 260 and freaking out!! My surgeon has since split off and moved out of area and I do not know what my secondary resources are at the moment. Anything you can send my way please do, I am so frustrated and have to get back on track.

Sorry its taken a while to get back to ya :/

Do you mind if I ask if you are here in P'cola? There is a surgeon that I am going to be going to...top in the area...but he also has a dietician and is suppose to help get me back on track... :)

If not, let me know and I can ask around for ya...

Also, I have noticed, when I stick with it, the GNC Go Lean shakes are awesome! They help get a protein back, while helping us take a break and hit the liquid meals here and there...I also have added either peanut butter or banana's to the shake....YUMMY!

Let me know what I can do to help :)

I am in Virginia and sadly my weight loss surgery clinic has gotten so big and successful they forgot to incorporate care for anyone over 3-4 years out. So I am on my own......I use a variety of protein shakes, I get the ones w/ least sugar and fat. I love CLICK, coffee infused...it is so delish. My main issue is lack of movement. I leave for work 7am and return home 8pm 4 days a week. At work I am stuck at a desk....it is exhausting sitting all day. After my GBS I had 8hr shirts and easily fit in gym time, now I have what seems NONE....my days off are filled with appointments, kids homework, cooking, etc! I went from single to married and step mom to a 11 yr old. I have to get it figured out, I can see 336 creeping back and I truly can not go there again!
