Arch Pain?

I have terrible arches in my feet from years of wearing the wrong shoes while cooking and waitressing in restaurants. Plus, being overweight didn't help. I have almost no arch whatsoever.
Does anyone else have this problem? The plank exercises in level 2 make my arches hurt so bad I can barely make it through the rest of the workout after the first one. Any suggestions? The jumping jacks have gotten a little easier, but it could just be that there are less of them in level 2.
I bought brand new athletic sneakers (the first since high school). They have great support, it's just my arches. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to spend a ton on money on inserts if they're not going to do anything.

I have been doing level 2 barefoot. I too encounter a little bit of pain when doing the planks wearing shoes.
Hope you find something that works for you. Otherwise, it just makes the workout feel like that much of a chore.0 -
I had nit thought about trying it barefoot. Definitely something to try :-)0
