Who all is here? I love this idea. :) I like the food log on mfp because it has so many of what I eat and the scanner option. Looking forward to the extra boost here!

    I too love the food choices on here. I never found this many when I did SparkPeople. It even has my local store brand on many things.

    I'm really liking this 'My Fitness Pal.'
    I am already "posting" on the site (my friends see it) .... will those posts show up here as well?

    I don't get to exercise at the gym today .... my day is too packed.
    But I'm committed to eating well, and who knows ... maybe I can get down to the gym.
    I have a quilting class this afternoon (early).
    Then I zoom back home to get dinner in the oven.
    Dd comes home tonight for spring break, but she won't be in 'til 8.
    if I get to the gym tonight, that's 5 days in a row for me. :-)
  • In case y'all didn't see this (posting on my facebook page),
    I did the elliptical for 2.5 miles last night, or 41 minutes!!
    That was HUGE for me, and I feel so so so good about that!
    I gave the elliptical a fair shot a couple of years ago ....
    seriously, I could only do it for a few minutes the first time I got on it.
    Then I managed to up the minutes, just a little, but I still didn't like the machine.
    Now .... I think I'm gonna like it!
    I can't work as hard or fast as I would hope to right now ...
    my heart rate is too wonky.
    It's rising too fast, and too high, so I'm having to go slow & steady.
    I have a cardiology appt. coming up .... I'm feeling good about that.

    From there I did 30 min. on the treadmill, first at 4.5 incline, and then 6.5 incline.
    And 40 crunches.
