My fat intake is between 60 and 70 percent of my total food intake. Yesterday I had 145g of fat. My diary is publicly available ..... Feel free to peek at it.

I aim for around 100g. Works well for my frame, metabolism, and goals. That's about 50% of my calories.

My fat was 74 grams today. Guess I need to increase that.

I shoot for a 75-80% fat macro. My blood glucose levels are more stable throughout the day if my fat is over 70%.

What are your goals? It depends on that.

How much do *I* get? Roughly 50% of my calories - I aim for 100g or less carbs/day (depending on activity level), 100g or more of protein, then the rest is fat for a calorie goal of 1900-2000 (on active days). Higher fat (percentage), less carbs, less calories on less active days.

My goals right now are the lose 30lbs, decrease body fat, and build muscle.

I once heard of Dr. Atkins saying that his plan was "low carb, with an appropriate amount of protein and fat." It seems that if you eat real food, and keep the carbs down, you won't need to worry about the fat content, or what to shoot for. It will take care of itself.

    Just a thought :-)
