I'm new to the Phoenix area (moved last Aug.) and I would like to do some triathlons this season. I have my sites on one half Ironman in Oct., Soma. I would like to do a few sprint and Oly ones too. Anyone know or recommend some good local races?? I have been on trifinder but I would like some opinions on fun, well organized races.

    I am trying the Espirit de she in May! Tri for the cure is March 24--both of those are all women's tris. Red Rock Co puts on good races and since they run Soma, it would be good to try one of their other races to prep. Tri family racing puts on a good beginner's race. I also like the Tempe international tri.

    The YMCA has a series of triathlons throughout the year, including several Olympic ones. They go by the name of Tri family racing. I also like to do the Four Peaks Racing sprint triathlons. They have one called Vistancia I'm doing next week, and several up in Anthem. There is the mountain man Olympic up in flagstaff in August and there is another one in Lake Hav. if you are up for traveling. :). Happy to see someone else from Phoenix on here.
