Does anyone want to share how they get enough protein in their diet throughout the day? I'm always under on the amount of protein I should be consuming.
Thanks!

    My two go-tos are

    -Apple (1/2) + Natural Peanut Butter (2T)
    -Cottage cheese + pineapple + walnuts

    Another good source is a protein bar. I'm trying some homemade ones. The recipes is in another discussion thread for the brides about snacks.

    Looking forward to seeing what everyone else does! Thanks for posting the topic!

    I like to make fruit smoothies with peanut butter. But rather than using peanut butter I put in PB2. 2 tablespoons is only like 45 calories.

    How I got my protein in -- visit w/a registered dietician.
    She has me eating protein 6x a day. (Depending on my hunger level, I may not have 1-2 snacks).

    Breakfast - 3oz
    Snack - 1oz
    Lunch - 3oz
    Snack - 1oz
    Dinner - 6oz
    Snack - 1oz

    For me -- it's chicken, cottage cheese, cheese, peanut butter, almonds, canned tuna, walnuts, egg, deli turkey, greek yogurt

    I'm on a high-protein meal plan with Curves now- feel free to send me a friend request if you want to see my diary for ideas :smile:

    I just started on Monday and here are the snacks I've had so far:
    * 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese with 1/2 cup grapes or pineapple chunks
    * 1/2 cup nonfat greek yogurt with 1/3 cup blueberries and 6 almonds
    * 2 celery stalks with 1 tbsp peanut butter
    * Cucumber with hummus
    * Rice cake with 2 tsp peanut butter
    * 12 almonds
    * 8 oz. skim milk (not much of a snack but good if you need some protein and aren't really hungry)
