still can't do pushups

I'm starting workout 7 tonight and i'm nervous because i still can't do push ups. I watched the video and the first move is this weird pushup thing, i tried to do it on my knee's but it hurt them. Any advice?

Don't feel bad. I still can't do them and just modify. As long as your doing the modified position properly, your fine0

I'm in week 9 and still do modified push-ups most of the time. I just can't get them right in my toes. Just keep going. I still feel it in the modified version so I figure its still working. Also it's something to strive for next time through.0

It's okay do the best you can. I do the pushups on my knees but make sure their is cushion on your knees like a yoga pad, carpet, etc. Hard flooring will be painful for your joints.0
