What methods or techniques do you use to motivate yourself to exercise when you really don't want to?

Have had this for years! But knowing from previous experience that the days you have to drag your butt out to run / train usually turn out to be the best workouts. I always feel better for getting out to run when I really would prefer to sit and veg.0

You kick your ego/excuses/pain/boredom/ and anything else trying to stop you in the butt, tell it to shush up, and get er' done! Keep telling yourself that you will stop at nothing to get in your exercise and just get it over with. You'll feel better afterward and that voice telling you "I don't feel like it" will start getting smaller and smaller until it's taken over by a "Let's work out today!" voice0
