i use to hear guys talk about these, i grabbed up a pair of old york health shoes and im so excited to start training in them today after squats, there are so many things you can do with theses how many of you know what im talking about or have tried them before?

I've heard of "metal" shoes, but that was the brand.

So are they similar to ankle weights and you're just walking around with them on?
Or what exactly are you doing with them? Leg raises?0 -

you can do just about anything you can think of with a solid bar or two separate weights
ill be doing reverse hyper extensions,leg extension leg raises , bicycle kicks leg curls hip work leg swings ....i think its a new twist for my training, the old timers definitely knew what they were doing0 -
Where is zilla at on this, im surprised the crossfitians havent jumped on these by now seems like something they wouldive found, i for one love old time strongman style training but these old health shoes were for everyone0

My mom had one of those about 30 years ago for physical therapy after a surgery or injury or something.0

they do work excellent for knee/hip tendon issues ,between theses and my band hipwork i should be all set for the season0
