So, I did my first "Easy Run" today. I realized that I was going slowly enough to hold a conversation and wondered if that was really fast enough.

So I googled it:

As a matter of fact, that's exactly how fast I should be going. Running is a lot slower than I thought it was.

That's great! I've read you should always be able to hold a conversation when running.

Truly. But it seems so slow. When I started running, I thought I'd be FAST, you know?

    LOL.

I thought I would GET faster. But, when I stop and think about it, I've covered a lot of ground, and a lot of changes in the last couple months. I've got time to work on getting faster now.

I'm learning that - yeah, we have time to get faster - right after we put in some weeks at getting in the base miles. LOL.
