I must admit that weight loss can be a beast at times. There are the ups and the downs, there are the highs on the scale and there are the lows and definitely there are the perks and there are the sacrifices......but it is all comes down to battling the beast one challenge at a time and winning more often than giving up.

Are there times when you will fell weak? Yes -- Are there moments when you just give in to temptation? Probably -- But you know what there will never be times when you don't take something away from those moments because they will always be a teachable time if you are willing to learn from them.

Remember that~

1. You are only human and that one bad day is not the end of the world and that it takes 3,500 calories to gain a pound so it "is not a complete loss for the day" if you overeat one meal. Just have way more good days than bad!

2. When you want to give up there is always someone who has been through it and can relate....MFP can be a wonderful place to see that people are going through the same thing that you are struggling with and can feel alone about.

3. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! The scale is not the end all final say in your battle....it is just one part of a number of measurements. Measure with the way your clothes fit, the measurement of your body and the measurement of how you feel. If you have more energy and can do something physically that you could not have before, then you are making progress.....visit the scale at a later date and IT WILL CHANGE over time if you watch your calories and get out and move.

4. Take it one meal and one day at a time. It may seem tedious at first to count the calories and log, but it is really the true picture of where you are at right now and it will not lie to you.

5. Shut that voice out of your head that tells you that you cannot do it. If you can't do a sit up or a push up today, KNOW that with practice and repetion you WILL be able to in the future.

Finally the most important~ You are worth it and every bit of effort will pay off!!!

Best wishes and have an awesome weekend!
