Too Much Protein, Not Enough Calories

Most days I don't eat enough calories and my protein is always a negative number. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions as to what I can do.
I work shift work so sometimes I have larger meal at lunch and just salad at dinner time as I only have 20min. for lunch break.
Do we mainly try to get in our required calorie amount and ignore the protein, sugar and fat numbers.
Thanks for any comments.

That's a really good question. I have that problem with Potassium. I never get enough Potassium. With protein, you may grab some yogurt. I'm making home made beef jerky. Very low in calories and, obviously, pure protein. You can make it in your oven. Lots of recipes online that you can find.0

I heard you are supposed to eat at least 1200 calories to avoid going into starvation mode. If you aren't eating the amount of calories the site tells you, then you should still be ok; just losing weight!0
