Thursday, March 28: Chest & Back + Short Cardio

10 Pushups (Any kind count. If you need to do them on your knees, that’s fine)
10 Supermans

10 Dumbbell Chest Flies (If you don’t have a bench, it is fine to do these laying flat on a mat).

10 Bent Over Dumbbell Rows

Repeat for a total of 10 sets.

Short Cardio: Today is also a short cardio day. Any kind is fine (jogging, power-walking, biking, jumping rope, swimming, etc). Try to do something to get your heart-rate elevated for at least 15 minutes. If you can go longer, even better!

    I did my regular BodyPump class, but added weights on my chest and back tracks to give myself an extra push. Wasn't able to do cardio though:( ill make up for it tomorrow!

    I`m up for tomorrow - I did the 45 cardio challenge this morning and another 30 min tonight so I am a girl on fire :) Will report in tomorrow when complete.....

    YAY! Exercises that I not only KNOW, but ones I like and I can do too! I will try to remember to do these after my cardio DVD in the morning. Good thing I saw this before bed tonight or I'd have missed this. Thanks! I will report tomorrow after the workouts.

    ok, I tried. Jeez, what a push to get this in. I did 2 sets after my cardio warm up, and one set just before my cool down. That's all I could manage. I was aiming for 2 & 2 but I just couldn't get another set in. It's not the 10 sets assigned, but I did 30 mins of cardio along with 3 sets of the Thur workout here.

    Thanks for posting this! I will try my best to keep reading BEFORE I go to the basement for my morning workouts! :)

    Im IN! I have to exercise after work every day, so my "DONE" will be posted tomorrow! I made a workout log (printable, customized on BODYBUILDING.COM) and incorporated your exercise list with cardio for a TURBULANCE TRAINING workout. It's the perfect 35 minute circuit and then some cardio in the garage.

    Really diggin' this group and challenge!

    I finished my "Total Body Toning Dancers Abs" and pre-logged "Zumba" because that doesn't start till 6 p.m. Now, I'm off to my gardens that need some extra "TLC"

    adding for the evening-

    Just to add to this... I was feeling a little out of sorts and anxious all afternoon/evening so to "soothe" myself I went for a quick interval jog. 2 mins of jogging, 2 mins of brisk walking- repeat this for 25 minutes. I know, I know.. sounds like C25K. Well it is, sort of but my C25K day is tomorrow lol.

    TLTR I guess.. but all in all I did:
    3 sets of today's workout +
    30 mins of cardio DVD +
    jogged for 25 mins +
    walked 4.11 mi today

    Did this challenge last night, with some interval cardio mixed in, then stepped out into the garage and hopped onto the elliptical for 10 and the recumbent for 10.

    HRM said I killed 346 cals. Not bad, but not my focus, way more interested in tone and definition.


    BTW..... If any one (like me) has to write down everything to get a decent workout done, I went on bodybuilding.com and looked up a "printable workout log", made one for each day. Complete with my add-on's and my extras, 3-hole punched it and made a book (of sorts). Really helps me with my commitment weakness issues. Just a tip!
