    Robin-feel better soon sweetie!!!!

Nothing last night and I was planning on nothing tonight but I am feeling pretty stressed at work...lots to do at the office before we leave for hawaii and only 1 1/2wks to get it all done...this usually prompts wine consumption!!!

Stress does not bode well for being a not so naughty lush Kate. I am wanting some wine after dealing with pet messes all day. One cat peed on the counter, the other on husbands work out backpack :explode: and my Chloe Belle got excited and had an accident on the carpet. But I've gotten lots of stuff done in between. Cleaned up the kitchen, put a load of dishes in, swept and mopped the hard floors, vacuumed the carpets and shampooed the pet stains, have the laundry going and I'm going to go take care of the cat boxes/bathroom. Is it Thursday yet?! I want wine.

Kat, I am sick to death of dog & cat hair - peeing is the worst because you know it's on purpose sometimes.

    Monday, 0
Tuesday, 0 - I am thinking of a glass of red, but will refrain.

Same here and yes, with our adopted male it is always on purpose :grumble:

Ended up having some white wine. Husband made a yummy dinner, he was having beer so I said yes to some white wine when he asked

One of our two cats sprays too. I have never seen which one it is..they are both neutered males and it just started about 3yrs ago WTF! Sometimes it concidences with us being out overnight...can't wait to see all the gifts when we get back from our 2wk vacay :grumble:

    Monday-0
Tuesday-0..I did it! Len and I went for a walk to the market so that helped calm me down...its fun walking around like knuckle heads and talking!
    Nothing planning anything tonight.

This week is weird. Guess it has to do with last weekends festivities and a slow recovery but we haven't made it to the gym once! Def going friday and saturday but might just chalk it up to a rest week sprinkled with some walks and yoga??!!

Thanks Kim! I love his face :smooched:
    YAY Syd! Enjoy!

Thanks Zip & back at ya, MamaLush...def will be a good weekend

Hi all, back from the dreaded physical. I don't know why they make me so nervous. I think it's because they are acutally indeed looking for stuff. So, I go in there all sweaty and nervous about what they will find.

So....we addressed this dumb cough (albuterol for that), allergy testing bloodwork (watch!! it's the cat), the planters faciitis, other bloodwork, hypertension treatment, switching from ambien to trazadone and the other girly stuff. Whoosh, what a session. I feel violated :blushing:

Looks like I'll be starting on some lisinopril for elevated BP - my lucky inherited family trait is what I am blaming...I'm looking up how it's metabolized now....I know it works thru the kidneys.

So, the planter faciitis is 500mg Naproxen twice a day for 2 solid weeks to get the anit-imflammatory effects...then, I have to get a steriod shot if that doesn't work. Ya right, I'll be doing tha:noway: t.

    Sunday=1 drink
    Monday=0 drinks
Tuesday=2 drinks (martini and agave wheat pint, there was a wait for manis and I got thirsty, but I didn't go home and keep drinking, so that is something...)

Tonight I might drink, might not, making burgers so a beer always goes so nicely...

Without even trying to or really realizing it, I gave up soda. It has to have been almost 3 weeks now and I'm still having headaches. At first I didn't know why but then realized they had to be caffeine headaches, they're not terrible but annoying and I have one right now .... is it time for wine yet?

Amcanzo-I dislocated my knee at the end of september. Its a long way back. I have to say I am still only about 80%. How did you bust your knee and how's it coming along?! Love your pic!

kblue - OUCH! I have done that in my past and that hurts! Well, I dislocated my kneecaps - left kneecap in 8th grade and right kneecap when I was 19...but my recent injury came about while I was exercising...yes thats right, trying to do something good...boo... Doing a Jillian Michaels DVD (I KNEW she was evil!), doing some butt-kicks, heard a really loud pop in my left knee and its just been a long road since then....my ortho doc says I tore the meniscus in my knee, which is what the pop was...because of the blood clot they will not do surgery, so it will not heal, because torn meniscus doesn't repair itself (apparently...). So, I'm at about 65-70% now - I can walk with a limp, no crutches. I can do stairs, but cannot alternate legs yet....

Good luck with your knee and your recovery!!:drinker:

Not sure what tonight will bring. Our office is closed tomorrow but I have so much to do before we leave on the 7th that I may have to come in to clean up. Next week is going to be brutal!!!

I was good Monday, Tuesday night, we had an impromptu fire/patio party and I had a few, but not as many as some others. Last night, we just hung out at home with the kids and I started drinking grapefruit/vodkas--I had 3 or 4, but they were in small glasses.

Tuesday - 2.5 glasses of red
    Wednesday - 0
I plan on having my 3 week day drinks tonight. Not sure what. Probably some rose'. It's supposed to be in the 50's today, which seems warm after our 30's temps this last week. SPRING!!! Huuuuuurry!
Friday - Try to stick to under 4 as I have a long run Saturday.
Saturday I can have 5 so most likley will which leaves 0 for Sunday.

Once a week my wife Darla, goes to a friends house to watch Dexter, and now that Games of Thrones is on, that as well. We both read the Games of Thrones books. Good read although the extensive political intrigues were sometimes hard to keep straight.

They have beer at Chuck E. Cheese? Brilliant!

I had my 3 (big) glasses of wine last night: rose' and a sauvignon blanc. I'm trying to hurry spring by drinking whites and rose's.

Going to Robert Earl Keen concert tonight, will try not to start drinking until dinner because the show isn't til 10pm and that makes for a lot of Shiner Bocks!

    Last night=5 beers

More tv watching, got in 6 episodes of Girls season 2, and the 6th episode of Game of Thrones. Might just have to watch them all day tomorrow before Watchathon is cut off!:noway:
