high fat or high protein?

I'm newly venturing into a no wheat/grains food plan. I've been vegan for some time and have been raw for a few months. I'm researching weight loss from:
low carb & high fat (Ketogenic, Atkins) vs
low carb & high protein (Dukan, Harcombe)
Any thoughts?

The best plan is low fat, low carbs and high protein...hard as a vegan..but I eat lots of soy products and gluten products for my protein..0

Hi,
I'm wondering how your vegan/ no-grain diet is going. I'm doing something like that. I started on 3-25. I'm basically eating beans and lentils for protein and sweet potatoes and rice for starch. I also eat coconut and olive oils only (no other oils). I also let myself have dark vegan chocolate (only 85% or higher cacao). Of course I am eating a lot of greens. I wouldn't say what I am doing is low carb or high fat, more like a balance. My goal is to see if absence of gluten & grain helps with weight loss and energy levels. I'm curious to hear if you're still grain free and how you are feeling.0
